The Reserve Bank of India announced in 2015 that all banks in India will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. On other Saturdays, banks are open all day. National banks are closed on Sundays and public holidays. You can check our list to see if your SBI Bank branch is open on Saturday or Sunday.

Most banks, both private and government-owned, are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. If there are five Saturdays in a month, the fifth one is usually a bank holiday. Here’s a list of the Saturdays in 2024 when SBI Bank will be closed.

SBI Bank Timing 2024 and Working Hours
SBI offers many different financial products and services, like fixed deposits, savings accounts, and loans. They also have a digital banking app called SBI YONO. Even though SBI YONO is available, many people still prefer to go to a bank branch to do their banking. SBI NEFT Time
The RBI says there will be 48 transfers every day, each lasting half an hour. The first one starts at 12:30 AM, and the last one ends at 12:00 AM. You can still use NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) to move money using SBI Netbank or the Yono App. Banks won’t charge you to use NEFT, as the RBI has said they shouldn’t.
SBI RTGS Timing
- SBI offers real-time money transfers (RTGS) on most days. You can send money to other banks using RTGS from 7 AM to 6 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
- You can transfer money using SBI Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, or by visiting a branch. There are many time slots for transfers throughout the day.
- Starting in December 2020, you can use RTGS 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
